Eye Exams

At The Eye Site, our goal is to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for your whole family! No matter your age or health, having a regular, preventative eye exam is important to maintain good eye health.

During a complete eye exam, Dr. Mosburg will determine your glasses or contact lens prescription and also check your eyes for common eye disease, assess how your eyes work together as a team, and get an overall look at your health.

Eye Emergencies

Dr. Mosburg is available to treat eye emergencies. Some symptoms of an emergency include sudden vision loss, eye injury or pain, eye discharge or redness, sudden blurry or hazy vision, foreign objects in the eye, abrasions, or burns.

Please contact our office immediately if you are experiencing an eye emergency!

Pediatric Eye Care

As many as 25% of school-aged children have vision problems! School vision screenings miss many of these problems, so having a comprehensive eye exam is a must for your child. The American Optometric Association recommends that children have their eyes examined at 6 months, 3 years, and again once they begin school. School-age children with no vision concerns should be examined every 2 years and those with glasses, contacts, or other vision problems should have a full exam each year.

The Eye Site is also available to diagnose and treat eye infections in children.

Diabetic Eye Exam

Diabetes is a leading cause of vision loss. It is especially important for patients with diabetes to have an annual eye exam to prevent potential vision problems. Dr. Mosburg received extensive training in diabetic eye care while at NSUOCO.

Contact Lens Exam

Contacts can help you see your best without glasses! Dr. Mosburg fits all types of contact lenses to best meet your visual needs. Schedule an appointment today to see if contact lenses are right for you!
